Affiliate links

This site doesn’t have any active affiliate partnerships yet. If and when it does — for example, to a final-expense insurance program, an estate-planning service, or a casket retailer — we’ll mark those links clearly where they appear, and they’ll only show up where we think they’re genuinely useful to someone planning a funeral, not on every page. An affiliate relationship never changes a price we publish, which funeral homes appear in our dataset, or what we say about them.

No pay-for-placement

No funeral home, cemetery, insurance company, or other business can pay us to add, remove, or edit its listing, or to change where it appears relative to others. The prices in our dataset come from each funeral home’s own published General Price List, and stay that way regardless of any business relationship.

Corrections

Every price we publish links to the source document we read it from and the date we read it, so you can check it yourself. If a price list has changed since we collected it, the current document at that link is the one to trust. See our methodology page for how we validate data before it’s published.
